Our sweet little Addison has turned 3 years old. We are always out and about on her birthday and this year we are staying with Jeff and Tracy Pickett (my sister) in Northern California while Ryan is doing his internship at Cooley Godward and Kronish.
Addie decided she wanted to have a Pirate Princess and Pirates party. She loved having her cousins Taylor, Austin and Graham and Mason and Landon Pickett there to celebrate with her.
I had swords and eye patches for all our cute party guests and after dinner we went on a treasure hunt.Following these 6 clues to the treasure chest:
1. Where Birds rest and lanterns glow find ye there a clue below

travel now through the gates of two
there you'll find a clue
3. Oh pirates and princess you've made it through
doubtless now you seek a clue
in this chest lay bombs of five
pop them fast to stay a live. (they pop six black balloons to find the next clue)
4. Ye have made it quite far Ye scurvy lot
somwhere in the garden X marks the spot
5. You now have the key to unlock my chest (they find the baseball bat)
But still you must pass one last test
Spin five times and give a twist
A birthday girl is in your midst
Sing me hearties
sing it strong
sing that birthday girl a song
once you've sung it and sung it right
the treasure is within your sight

the youngest first
these be me rules

Thats where they find the treasure chest pinata! It was a real hit and the kids loved it.
After that we had cupcakes! What a great way to spend her 3 rd birthday!

So cute and impressive Megan. You always come up with the best ideas. Preschool parties are going to be boring this year for Amelia. I hope all is going well for you guys!
I can't believe she's already 3! Where did that time go? I feel like it was just last year you brought a brand new baby into the ticket booth at N.O.T! And he celebration looked fabulous! I hope I'm that good at throwing kids birthday bashes!
