and a before and after pic. I bought this table (and 4 chairs) at the thrift store for $35. I recovered the chairs and stained it. The top was not actually wood so using a rag, i created a faux wood grain. It needs some touch-ups and looks better in person but I learned so much and are currently working on my parents old oak coffee table. I will post before and afters soon!

LOVE it. Megan, you are my creative inspiration!
Looks awesome! You're so talented!
Isn't it amazing what you can do with something old. I have a hard time throwing away old things because I think I could do something with it but I never do. Glad you use your talent. My mom could do wonders refinishing old furniture I should have learned from her but I never was interested. I am sorry now.belin
So fantastic! You are very creative and I love everything! Addie is growing up. I can hardly believe how big and grown-up she seems. You are such a fun Mom!
Holy Crap, Megan!!!! That's an amazing table redo!
