HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN.

Yesterday Grandpa Steve came over to bring us our pumpkins. He always hooks us up with the coolest pumpkins EVER. He works all year growing these pumpkins. It takes two strong men to carry one of these pumpkins. We love them and can't wait to carve them tonight.







Today we went to the Monster Block Party at the Gallivan center. We dressed Addie up in her adorable witch costume that our talented Aunt Patti made her. We couldn't take two steps without getting compliments on our cute baby in her adorable costume. It was fun. Addie held on tight to her treat bag and got some candy for mom and dad! She was all smiles and even wore her hat the entire time! We love having a sweet little girl to share our holidays with, they are so much better with Addie around!



We took lots of fun pictures and this is only the beginning of the Halloween festivities.
Ryan and i scoured all of Salt lake and vicinity to find our Halloween costumes. We had our top five choices with number six as the fall back choice

1. jack and sally from nightmare before Christmas
2. Edward and Bella Cullen "post turning" aka Vampires
3. pregnant Britney spears and K fed
4. Rosie the riveter and the sailor
5. German military-ish guys like Sky capitan and the world of tomorrowAND

6. Dead Pirates from pirates of the Caribbean



Unfourtunately we had a hard time finding everything so we are going to dead pirates. We bought some fun costumes and we will have lots of fun pictures.


OH HOW I LOVE HALLOWEEN! This is my FAVORITE holiday.

A FUN WEEKEND!

What a fun weekend! The haunted house, Berkeley, new car and clayton's baby blessing!
We finally had all the cousins in the same place so we got some really cute pictures.
It was really great to see everyone. It's always hard to come home.

getting ready for Halloween!

Tonight we are going to the haunted house with Morgan and Ryan. We are taking Addie and Ryan is going to wait for us at the end of the house. But we thought it would be fun to dress her up and let her take pictures with some of the Zombies! This is Addie trying on her witch hat!

Top Ten

My top ten favorite things about Addison:
(in no particular order)

10.Her flatulence!
Strange, i know. But it is seriously hilarious. Sometimes it gets so loud that we aren't sure who it came from. ha ha

9. Her very independent nature
(she tries to hold her bottle or cover herself with her blanket although it always ends up on top of her face and she lifts her legs up when i change her diaper like "see mom, I'm helping!"

8. Her legs and feet.
She has her daddy's toes and she tries to grab you with them and holds her blanket in them. She always moves those little legs and feet. It's too cute


7. She is easily entertained.
She loves to watch t.v. with me. She will sit on my lap and watch t.v. or watch the computer screen for a good length of time.


6. Her taste in music.
She will squawk (and sometimes cry) when songs come on that she doesn't like. All i have to do is change the station till i hit a song she likes (like anything Gwen Stefani) and she will be silent.

5. Her smile!
I love how she smiles at me every morning when we wake up. It's this great big open mouth grin. This girl smiles with her entire body! It's the greatest


4. Her sweaty palms.
I know i know. Only a mom could love her child's flatulence and sweaty palms but I DO! I am sorry that i passed it on to her. But little Addison Linda is carrying on a legacy started by Grandma Linda

3. Her "talking"
I love when she tries to talk to us she sounds like a little raptor

2. She is the ultimate snuggler.
She likes to always be holding onto you when she snuggles and its pretty much the cutest thing ever.

1. Because she has taught Ryan and I a lot about what love really is. She shows me so much about myself.


I can't believe I am a mom and that I lucked out and get to be the mom of this sweet little girl.
