We woke up at 5:30 am this morning to head downtown and watch the implosion of the Key Bank building downtown. (not to sound like a total dork but) IT WAS SO COOL! Watching a 20 story building fall to the ground and then the big cloud of smoke. We had a perfect view from the roof of the Hilton . We were prepared to take video from our little digital camera but they actually blew up the building like 5 minutes early. It caught everyone off guard. But Addison didn't even flinch. It wasn't until we were leaving and i gently bumped her stroller into the side of the staircase on accident that she decided to wake up. We got a good laugh out of that. Although as we watched this 20 story bldg drop i reflected on 9/11 and realized i could never understand how traumatic that must have been. You would have had to of been there to truly understand. It put it into perspective for me though. And what i saw was a controlled fall of only 20 stories. Wow. I cant imagine.

i think this is awesome that Addie has already been to a building implosion...you guys are the coolest parents.
